  1. I made a couple of spelling goofs—getting overconfident. In French the slang name for the Boulevard St. Michel is “le Boul’ Mich’.” English writers often leave off the second apostrophe or smush the two words together.

    “Savile Row” is spelled with just one L. I was thinking of “Seville” in Spain.
